BEIRUT TRIP

Beirut? It was so wonderful, Beirut stands on the site of a very ancient settlement going back at least 5,000 years. Everything was sooo eye and breath catching for me. No wonder it is called "City that Would not Die." it is also known as "Paris of the Middle East." Although our trip was just for few days, I would say that we cover almost the major part of Lebanon. Thanks to Zaireen a.k.a Cik Senah for her effort come out with good itinerary within short time of period. Started by half day leave on Thursday, flight departed around 5.00pm form Doha and the journey took almost 3.00 hours.

Lebanon located at GMT +2 so we are one hour later than Doha.(ade org silap bgn awal...huh...terlalu awal...x pnh dia bgn ari jumaat seawal itu!!) Arriving Rafique Hariri International Airport was around 9.00pm. Kak Wasitah managed to arrange a driver prior to our arrival thru her Lebanese office peer.It seems me who doesn't contribute anything for this trip, so not a big wonder la kalau next trip they don't wanna include me huhu.

With the driver waited for us in the airport upon arrival, so we were driven to the pre booked suites. Lucky us that the hotel located in the center of town i.e Hamra Street. I would say it is quite happening street la jugak with rows of shops and so..
Generally Lebanon is very compact city, as we can see people residing and development are everywhere. Their medium of communication is Arabic and Frech as their 2nd langguage. In 3 days we covered Baalbek, Anjar, Zahle on the 1st day, and2nd day to Bettedein, Saida and Tyre, and last day to Jeita Grotto,Byblos and tour around town. On and off we also went to Corniche, Downtown and Beirut also!! Since picture worth thousands of words....enjoy our snaps!!

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Apart from enjoying the beauty of the scenery, what is new for me was to see the way how Christians there practice in very conservative way. Now i realised that they r most similar to Muslim do.A friend of mine told me over there even Muslims and Christians they are just like brothers...no bound to be

Good News that Blessed

I was waken up so early this morning by 2 consecutive text messages from my sister and brother, the first one has already waken me, but I just ignored since it was around 4.30am, but as i was about drifting back to catch my sleep, the second one came in couples of seconds after . It somehow put a big question mark in my head, my curiosity kills my sleepy eyes. I woke up and grab the phone, I could see that both of massages were from my brother and sister in Malaysia. Heart beaten even faster, but my adrenaline dropped as I saw the text. Both of it were telling me that my mother's wound has been healed, they were both so happy until they can't wait a bit later to pass me this news. Ohh...I'm smiling(while sleepy). Thanks God.

I'm sure she (my mother) could be happier than we are. She had this wound for about more than a year ago, as what doctor told, it was because uncontrolled sugar level due to her diabetics. She (and us also of course) seem so worry over this as the wound got deeper and deeper. It was kind of pity to hear when she told me that sometime she even have a sleepless night. because of doesn't want to be admitted in the hospital, she planned not to tell her specialist regarding this until my sister plays her role to get her friend's brother to help her with this. She needs to pay her visit every other day to the hospital and to replace the bandage until the wound finally heals. So after this there will be no more visit to the hospital to change the bandage anymore

I replied their messages two hours after, and my sister quickly replied telling me that my mother is sooo..happy and suggested me to give her a call. Yes she is, she even invited all the nurses there for a lunch together some when this week (huh!! makan laaagi). By the way it's always good to hear that they are in good state, especially when currently I'm not around them to see what had happened. See...even though i woke up so early but all the day through I feel sooo blessed. Hope it will be forever....Ameen.
